1. Who We Are

Rankberg provides SEO analysis and related advisory services. This page explains how we handle personal information when you use the website, request a free analysis, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us.

The current on-site free analysis form uses a third-party report workflow. At the time of writing, that form submits entered details to Website Audit Server at websiteauditserver.com and returns the report in an embedded frame on this site.

If you have questions about this page or how we handle personal information, you can contact us at hello@rankberg.com or through the Rankberg contact page.

2. What We Collect

We only collect information that is relevant to operating the website, responding to requests, and delivering the services you ask for.

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, work email, company name, website address, and any message or project context you send to us.
  • If you use the on-site free analysis form, the current workflow submits your website URL, work email, optional company name, consent selection, and the current page URL as a referrer field through the external report service.
  • Technical request data from hosting, browsers, devices, or service providers may also include IP address, browser type, and basic request activity.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to run the website, respond to you, and carry out the work you ask us to do.

Where applicable, the handling of personal information may depend on your request, your consent, or our need to operate the site and respond to enquiries.

  • To respond to contact requests and send the information you asked for.
  • To submit, deliver, or discuss a free analysis request.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the website and related service workflow.
  • To review misuse, technical issues, or requests that affect the integrity of the site or report flow.
  • To keep records needed for business administration or legal obligations.

4. When We Share Information

We may share personal information with third parties where that is necessary to run the website, respond to your request, or meet legal requirements.

We try to keep that sharing limited to what is actually needed for the relevant purpose.

  • Providers that host the site, route email, or support the external report workflow used for free analysis requests, including Website Audit Server for the current embedded report flow.
  • Professional advisers where that is reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, or similar operational matters.
  • Authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the website or service.

5. Cookies and Analytics

This site and the external report workflow may use standard technical cookies or similar browser storage needed to load pages, submit forms, protect the service, or support basic usage reporting from the providers involved.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the site or report request flow may then stop working properly.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain business records, or to meet legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.

If information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or retain only what is required for record-keeping or compliance.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, such as asking for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection.

If a request relates to information held by a third-party report provider or another service provider, we may need to involve that provider to complete the request properly.

8. International Transfers and Updates

Some of the providers involved in hosting, email, or the report workflow may process information outside your country. Where a third-party service is involved, its own terms and processing locations may also be relevant.

We may update this page if the website, the analysis workflow, or the way the service operates changes. When we do, the updated version will be published here.

9. Contact

If you want to ask about this page or make a request about your personal information, use the Rankberg contact page and we will respond through the most appropriate channel for the request.
